Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a junior studying mechanical engineering with a certificate (minor) in materials science. I have been heavily involved in research at Princeton. My projects have involved making organic semiconducting nanowires for solar cells and designing different vanadium redox flow batteries. This summer, I will be working with another professor on lithium-ion batteries.

After Princeton, I plan on attending graduate school and focus either on mechanical engineering or materials engineering.

In my spare time, I will go workout at the gym, talk with friends, or play with the flight simulator in my department's student lounge.

E93: Energy Conversion and Storage: A Focus on Renewable Energy in Splash Spring 13 (Apr. 27, 2013)
What is a solar cell, and how does it work? Why is the transition from fossil fuel energy to renewable energy so difficult? Do biofuels burn differently than conventional hydrocarbon fuels? This course will go over the basic technologies in the renewable energy and energy storage fields. The costs and benefits of renewable energy will also be discussed.
