Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hi! My name is Wesley Cornwell, and I'm a freshman. I'm currently planning on concentrating in Anthropology with certificates in Linguistics, Theater and Global Health. Throughout high school, I was always involved in theater; however, I only acted. When I began school here, I promised myself to try new things, and that is when I discovered how much I enjoy the production and technical aspects of theater! I have worked as the ASM for the department's fall show, the production manager for Freshman One Act Festival with Theatre Intime, and I'm currently stage managing for PSC's Taming of the Shrew. I'm serving as co-ATD on Theatre Intime's managing board. If you have any questions about Princeton or the theater community, feel free to email me at wfc@princeton.edu!

A55: Theatrical Lighting in Splash Spring 13 (Apr. 27, 2013)
This class will demonstrate the different parts of a light, and explain the different types of theatrical lights commonly used (liko, par, strips, practicals, etc.) Then, we will demonstrate how different light angles (front, side, back, low, high, etc.) affect our perceptions of the actors on stage. We will teach them how to write a light cue, and we will have some fun with a mini scene!
