Brief Biographical Sketch:

Samuel A. Chang is currently an undergraduate at Princeton University. He intends to major in the Woodrow Wilson School of Public Policy with a focus in Environmental Policy and pursue certificates in Urban Studies, Environmental Science, and East Asian Studies. On campus, Samuel is an active member of Sinfonia Orchestra, Princeton Off the Record A Cappella Group, Club Tennis, Club Volleyball, and the Whig-Cliosophic Society. In High School, Samuel was
the class valedictorian, maintained a 4.67 GPA, and scored a 2290 on his SAT. He held various leadership positions, serving as Captain of the Speech and Debate Team, Captain of the Boys’ Varsity Tennis Team, Treasurer of the Student Body Senate, President of Interact, Vice President of the Ping Pong Club, and Concertmaster of Regional Orchestras. He has been nationally recognized by the National Forensics League as an All-American Debater and by the Army,
Navy, and Air force for his research in Magnetic Motion Machines. His research paper was recently published by the International Journal of Science, Technology, and Education. This summer, Samuel plans to study Chinese in Beijing Normal University through the Princeton in Beijing program.
