Brief Biographical Sketch:
On the academic level, I study chemistry and intend to pursue a PhD in chemistry with a focus in energy conversion and storage. I graduated from Montgomery Blair HS, and will soon (fingers crossed) be graduating from Princeton University. I am also a music enthusiast, lyricist, and composer, having performed in multiple different ensembles (instrumental in HS, choral at Princeton) and written comedy sketches and songs for the Princeton Triangle Club. An introduction to songwriting for anyone from total newbies to hardened vets. The first half of the class will introduce the basics of writing lyrics and putting lyrics to music. The second half will involve students playing with songwriting in a collaborative environment.
