Brief Biographical Sketch:

Iris Ushizima is a junior in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at Princeton double majoring in Mech and Aero with a minor in Materials Science Engineering. Iris is an incoming Research & Development intern at Aston Martin Racing F1 Team (and a huge F1 fan!) with a passion for racing, performance engineering, manufacturing, and composite materials.

E751: How to Be an F1 Driver in Splash 2023 (Apr. 22, 2023)
Come learn what it takes to be a Formula Driver! Learn about the mental and physical demands that Formula drivers face and participate in training sessions hosted by Princeton Racing Electric (for more info about us, see! Our event will introduce you to basic driving concepts like apexing and passing, which you will get to apply first-hand with a recreation of the Princeton Racing Electric vehicle in Forza Horizon 5 on a PC racing sim setup. There will also be an optional training portion that includes exercises F1 drivers use to prepare for their races, with a focus on reflexes. Come and become the next Lewis Hamilton!
